DES MOINES, Iowa – Coming off its road upset at then No. 9 Butler Monday, the Drake University men's soccer team hosts Illinois-Chicago Friday at the Cownie Soccer Complex. First kick with the Flames is scheduled for 5 p.m. and the match will be shown on ESPN+. Following the game against UIC (2-0-0), Drake (1-1-0) visits UMKC (0-2-0) Sept. 4 with first kick in Kansas City, Mo. set for 7 p.m.
The win over the Butler Bulldogs is the first-ever win over a top-10 opponent in program history and helped the Bulldogs earn a vote in the most recent United Soccer Coaches' Top 25 poll.
