SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Drake University men's soccer team travels south on Sunday for a 1 p.m. kickoff against No. 14 Missouri State. The Bears are a perfect 10-0 overall and 4-0 in Missouri Valley Conference play this season.
Drake seeks to continue its winning ways after besting Evansville, 1-0, on Wednesday at Cownie Soccer Complex. Erik Fahner's penalty kick in the 16th minute lifted the Bulldogs to victory before the game was called off in the 78th minute due to inclement weather.
Drake and Missouri State met only once in 2018, scrapping to a scoreless draw in Des Moines.
