DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's soccer team routed Western Illinois, 4-0, Wednesday, Sept. 26 night at the Cownie Soccer Complex.
Drake (5-3-1) blitzed Western Illinois (2-5-2) behind three goals in just over three minutes in the first half. Sophomore Leroy Enzugusi (Marion, Iowa) netted the first and fourth goals for the Bulldogs while senior Steven Enna (Overland Park, Kan.) and junior Antonio Sanchez (Iowa City, Iowa) each added one goal. Junior Cole Poppen (Ankeny, Iowa) tallied two assists while redshirt sophomore Lucas Bartlett (Overland Park, Kan.
