DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's soccer team earned a 1-0 victory over the Evansville Aces on a rainy Wednesday night at Cownie Soccer Complex. The game was called off in the 78th minute due to inclement weather.
The match counts as official because at least 70 minutes were played.
"Tonight was a good performance and a well-deserved result under some difficult conditions," said Drake head coach Gareth Smith. "This was a difficult three points to pick up as Evansville battled throughout the game and are a tough team to beat.
