POWELL'S POINT, N.C. – The Drake University men's golf team moved up to fifth-place through two rounds at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate on Monday.
The Bulldogs recorded their lowest round of the season with a 285 and rose to fifth-place on the leaderboard with a total score of 573 (288-285). Campbell widened its lead on the 18-team field with a score of 540 and holds a 19-shot lead over second-place Ball State.
"The team played well today. The conditions were more difficult with the winds picking up this afternoon. It was also a challenge since the winds were changing direction throughout the day," said Drake head coach Matt Lewis.
