The Drake University men's golf team will head to Madison, Ill. for the SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational on Sept. 23-24. The 54-hole event will take place at the par-71 Gateway National Golf Links.
The 18-team field includes Austin Peay, Belmont, Bradley, Creighton, Eastern Illinois, Loyola, Missouri State, Murray State, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, Omaha, SIUE, Southern Utah, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin, Weber State and Western Illinois.
The Bulldogs will be back in action for the first time since their 15th-place finish at the Falcon Invite hosted by the Air Force Academy. Drake was led in that event by freshman Nick Pittman in his first-ever collegiate event.
