BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – The Drake University men's golf team completed the first two rounds at the ORU Shootout on Monday at the Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow, Okla.
"We got off to a strong start and were leading the tournament after 12 holes. After that point we really struggled. We had too many big numbers and overall we are disappointed with our score," Drake head coach Matt Lewis said. "We know tomorrow is a new day and looking forward to bouncing back."
After recording a solid 308 to begin the day, the Bulldogs struggled in the second 18 holes of the day, registering a 319 and finished the day in 11th-place with a score of 627 (308-319).
