The Drake University men's golf team continued its nearly year-long unbeaten streak by defeating Valparaiso, 306-316 in a dual match Thursday, Oct. 15, at Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington, Iowa.
The win marks the fifth-straight victory to the Bulldogs and second of the 2020 fall season.
"I am proud how the team played in very tough conditions," said Drake head coach Matt Lewis. "The course was set up around 7,200 yards with the greens firm and fast rolling at a 12 [on the stimpmeter]. The winds at 20 mph plus also made scoring a challenge.
