DES MOINES, Iowa - The Drake University men's golf team defeated Creighton in a rare dual match, 301-310, Monday, Oct. 15, afternoon at Des Moines' Wakonda Club.
Chase Wicklund (Scottsdale, Ariz.) earned medalist honors by leading the Bulldogs with the day's lowest round of 73.
"It was great to get the win today," said Drake University head coach Matt Lewis. "Chase led us with a solid round of 73 that was the low round of the day by three strokes. It was a cool and windy day, but I was proud of how the guys battled all afternoon.
