POWELLS POINT, N.C. – The Drake men's golf team has one round remaining in the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate and its season. The Bulldogs (299-299-300-898) finished in 10th place as a team.
"The course played harder than normal," head coach Matt Lewis said. "We have been competing in the tournament for the last 10 years and it has never been tougher than this week. It was windy both round one and two. The thing that made the course challenging was the greens were extremely firm. You had to play the bounce and this made it tough to get the ball close to the hole.
