WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Drake University men's golf team battled tougher conditions to move up the leaderboard on the final day of the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate and finish the three-day event in third place.
The Bulldogs had the second-lowest round of the final day, carding a 13-over par 297 Tuesday to finish the event at 881 (+29). No. 43 Campbell won the event with an 863.
Individually, Tim Lim and Tommi Avant both recorded top-10 individual finishes as Lim finished tied for seventh at 6-over par 76-69-74–219 while Avant, the Day 1 leader, finished tied for ninth at 68-76-76–220 (+7).
