DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's basketball team hosts its lone exhibition contest of the 2017-18 season Saturday afternoon when it welcomes Minnesota Crookston to the Knapp Center. Tipoff between the Bulldogs and Golden Eagles is set for 1 p.m.
The Drake University men's basketball team begins its first season under the direction of head coach Niko Medved who was named head coach March 26, 2017. Medved took the reins at Drake after four successful seasons as head coach at Furman University where he guided the program to back-to-back postseason appearances and was named the Southern Conference Coach of the Year.
