DES MOINES, Iowa – Paced by senior Reed Timmer's (New Berlin, Wis.) game-high 27 points, the Drake men's basketball team defeated Omaha, 93-74, Saturday evening in the Knapp Center.
Timmer recorded his fifth game with 25 or more points on the season while moving into sixth on Drake's all-time scoring list with 1,547 career points. Timmer was 7-of-17 from the field, 6-of-11 from three-point range and a perfect 7-of-7 at the free-throw line. On the season, Timmer is shooting 56.1 percent from the three-point arc.
