TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Drake University men's basketball team never relented or wavered in grinding out a 68-62 road win at Indiana State Saturday, Feb. 2, afternoon. The win was the Bulldogs' third-straight Missouri Valley Conference road win and third-straight win over the Sycamores.
Drake only led for 4:17 of the contest that saw five lead changes before the Bulldogs closed the game on an 11-3 run.
"We got the win because our guys stayed with it on a night they didn't have it," said Drake head coach Darian DeVries. "They kept fighting and kept battling with everything Indiana State threw at them.
