DES MOINES, Iowa – In a back-and-forth Missouri Valley Conference game, the Drake University basketball team claimed sole possession of first place with a 77-68 win over Bradley Tuesday night inside the Knapp Center.
Five players scored in double-figures for Drake (21-7, 10-5 MVC) led by Brady Ellingson with 17 points. DJ Wilkins (Merrillville, Ind.) scored 14 points while Nick McGlynn (Stoughton, Wis.) just missed his 10th double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Anthony and Tremmell Murphy (Griffith, Ind.), combined for 25 points as Anthony equaled his career-high of 12 points.
