ST. LOUIS – Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Caden McCullough (Evansville, Ind.) of the Drake University men's soccer team has been tabbed the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the MVC office announced Tuesday afternoon.
McCullough recorded his third shutout in his young career in the 1-0 win at Evansville on Saturday night. The Evansville, Ind. native, tallied five saves, including a key save on a Purple Aces' penalty kick in the 87th minute. McCullough has played every minute in net and tallied 84 saves for the Bulldogs in his first season of action.
