DES MOINES, Iowa - Drake University's Cloud Masibhera became the first Drake man to win the triple jump at the Drake Relays as he bested the field Saturday afternoon at the Drake Relays presented by Hy-Vee powered by Mediacom.
With his third jump, Masibhera put a mark of 48-1.75 (14.67m) on the board that held up over the last three rounds to earn him the white flag. On his fifth jump, he also hit 48 feet before passing on his final attempt with his title already secured.
Air Force's LaShawn Harris finished second in 47-6.
