ST. LOUIS – Drake University's Kyle MacDonald was named Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team honorable mention, announced by the league office Tuesday, May 2.
MacDonald, a sophomore from Burlington, Ontario, owns a 3.28 grade-point average as a business studies major. He finished tied for seventh place at the MVC Championship to earn top-18 flag honors. MacDonald carded a 74.3 round average over 29 rounds and posted 20 rounds of 75 or less. Prior to the conference tournament, his top finishes came at SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational and the Fighting Irish Classic, where he placed eighth and 17th, respectively.
