CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Drake University track and field team had a solid start to the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships on Saturday. The Bulldogs celebrated one individual title and a handful of other podium finishes in Carbondale.
Tyla Lumley got the Bulldogs going with a bang, winning the first event on the track. Lumley capture the Valley crown in the women's 10,000m with a time of 35:52.37. Fellow Bulldog Anastasia Kirillov took runner-up honors in 36:06.58 while Chiara Belfico finished seventh in 38:29.80.
Aziz Jdai capped the day with another podium finish in the distance races.
