Kristina Lott has been named the new Drake University women's tennis head coach, director of athletics Brian Hardin announced Tuesday, Aug. 24.
Lott had previously served as the Bulldogs' assistant coach for the past two seasons and was instrumental in the program's 2021 Missouri Valley Conference title and NCAA Tournament appearance.
"We're excited to have Kristina lead our program and she is the perfect fit to build upon the team's culture of success and continue the upward trajectory of our women's tennis program," Hardin said. "Her experience as a coach, professional athlete and student-athlete will be a tremendous asset to the women in our program as they pursue sustained success in the classroom, competition and community.
