MCALLEN, Texas -- Haeri Lee is leading the field after the first two rounds of the UTRGV Invitational at McAllen Country Club (par 72) on Monday (March 7). The Drake women's golf team is tied for seventh place as a team following day one with a combined score of 628.
The weather took a turn nine holes into the first round when the temperature dropped into the 50 degree range with rain and wind gusts up to 28-30 miles per hour.
Lee turned in a day-low round of 71 in the opening round following by a 78 for a total of 149 through two rounds for a one stroke lead.
