For the third consecutive year, Des Moines' Hometown Team is participating in its annual #515Day as the Drake University athletics department engages in a day of service to Des Moines and Central Iowa, Friday, May 15.
Traditionally on May 15, a date that matches the Des Moines area code of 515, the Bulldogs have sought to give back in any way possible with large scale volunteer efforts throughout Des Moines.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing guidelines, Drake coaches and staff members are volunteering through different individual and smaller efforts to serve their hometown during a time of great need.
