DES MOINES, Iowa – held on to win the men's 3000-meter steeplechase in the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Drake University at Drake Stadium on Saturday, May 13. The Drake men's track & field team currently sits in fourth place overall in the team standings with 50 points.
With a time of 8:51.20, Jdai became the fastest and first Drake student-athlete to win the men's 3000m steeplechase at the MVC Championships since Robert McCann won in 8:43.00 in 2016.
On the women's side of the 3000m steeplechase, had a fifth place finish for four team points registering a time of 10:44.
