DES MOINES, Iowa – Senior Mela Jaglarz and freshman Megan Webb claimed the Flight B doubles title to lead the Drake University women's tennis team at the Drake Invitational on Sunday.
Jaglarz and Webb defeated South Dakota's Lazaveric/Nylund 8-4 to win the Flight B doubles championship.
Senior Summer Brills and freshman Liza Petushkova finished in third-place in the Flight A doubles draw by cruising past North Dakota's Palumbo/Hartnett 8-1.
In singles, Brills fell to Augustana's Kornelia Staniszewska 6-4, 6-2 to finish runner-up in the Flight A singles draw.
