ST. LOUIS, Mo. –The Drake women's golf team had a pair of student athletes named to the 2025 MVC Scholar-Athlete Teams, the league announced on Wednesday. Erika Holmberg was selected to the First Team and Julie Huggins garnered a Second Team selection.
Holmberg finished the season ranking third on Drake with an average of 76.52. She recorded four top-20 finishes on the season while playing in nine tournaments and posted two top-10 results tying for 10th at the WIU Intercollegiate with a 54-hole score of 236 and saved her best for last at the MVC Tournament tying for sixth at 221.
