TAMPA – Drake University women's basketball junior Becca Hittner (Urbandale, Iowa) earned 2019 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches' All-America honorable mention honors, the WBCA Thursday, April 4.
Hittner is Drake's first WBCA All-America nominee since Lizzy Wendell in 2017. Hittner, who has been named the Jackie Stiles Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year each of the last two seasons, is the first Bulldog to be named the conference player of the year twice since Drake legend Wanda Ford in 1985 and 1986.
This year, Hittner, who was the MVC's top scorer last season, averaged a league-best 19.
