Des Moines, Iowa – The Drake women's tennis team hosted the 2022 edition of the Drake Invite this weekend. The Bulldogs saw a handful of solid performances including a pair of top-three place winners.
In singles, Drake sophomore Mille Haagensen finished in third place in Flight A while senior Rebecca Ehn finished as the runner-up in Flight B.
Haagensen's weekend started with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Melisa Becerra of Nebraska-Kearney. The Oslo, Norway native then took down Nyah Kauders 8-3 to reach the semifinals where she fell to South Dakota's Beata Havlickova.
