ATLANTA – The Drake University women's basketball program ranked 14th in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Coaches Association Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll for the 2019-20 season with a 3.690 team grade point average, the WBCA announced Tuesday, Aug. 11.
This year's award for Drake is its seventh-straight annual recognition from the WBCA for its outstanding team academic success. The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III; NAIA and junior/community college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined grade point averages inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season.
