DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake University football student-athletes Nathan Clayberg and Tanner Evans have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for their efforts in the classroom and on the field. As District 6 first-team honorees, both Clayberg and Evans are now eligible to receive CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
Clayberg, a senior from Pella, Iowa, was a 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-District selection. He has helped anchor the defensive line of a unit that ranks 34th nationally by allowing just 127.3 rushing yards per game. Individually, he has recorded 40 tackles (22 solo) with 5.
