DELAND, Fla. – Senior Conley Wilkins recorded 140 rushing yards to surpass the 1,000-yard mark in the Drake University football team's 45-14 win/loss at Stetson University on Saturday.
Wilkins' 140 rushing yards gave him 1,080 for the season, becoming the fifth Bulldog since 1987 to accomplish that feat.
"He has given his heart and soul to this program and I am so proud of him for everything he has done for us," said Drake head coach Rick Fox on Conley Wilkins.
Grant Kraemer threw a career-high 334 yards with five touchdowns and completed 21-of-33 passes.
