DES MOINES, Iowa – Coming off its first Pioneer Football League win, the Drake University football team hosts Dayton Saturday at Drake Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. and the game will be streamed on ESPN3, broadcast on the radio on 1350 ESPN Des Moines (simulcast on 102.1 FM) and live audio will be available via The Varsity Network app.
Drake (2-3, 1-1 PFL) edged Butler, 6-3, this past Saturday in a defensive battle played in a steady rain for much of the first three quarters in Indianapolis. The Drake Bulldogs trailed 3-0 at halftime but took the lead for good with an early third-quarter touchdown run by Cross Robinson.
