SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Drake junior Will Ecklund has been named to the 2024-25 Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence, the conference announced earlier this week.
Ecklund, who was also named to Summit League All-Academic Team this year, also earned Summit League Singles Player of the Week and member of Summit League Doubles Team of the Week once throughout the season.
He played to 9-8 overall record, all in singles play...went 1-0 at No. 3, 0-1 at No. 4, 3-2 at No. 5, and 5-4 at No. 6.
The Summit League released a list of more than 900 student-athletes named to the 2024-25 Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence Thursday as that number grew by nearly 100 from a season ago.
