ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Pioneer Football League named Drake University punter Shane Dunning to its Preseason All-Pioneer Football League Team on Tuesday (Aug. 2). A total of 30 PFL student-athletes were selected.
Returning players named to the league's 2021 All-PFL Teams were placed automatically on the 2022 Preseason All-PFL team, in order of head coaches voting.
Dunning recorded 58 punts for a total of 2268 yards (39.1 yard average) during the 2021 season. The Muskego, Wis., native delivered 16 balls inside of the 20 yard line and blasted three punts over 50 yards, including a season-best 72 yard punt at San Diego on Oct.
