SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Drake men's golf team battled through less than ideal spring conditions for a top-five team finish at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate at Twin Oaks Country Club (Par 71). The Bulldogs (287-280-282—849) finished three under par as a team over three rounds to end up in fourth on the team leaderboard out of 13 teams.
"I'm really proud of how the team did the past couple of days," head coach Matt Lewis said. "The top four guys all finished in the top 25 individually. The guys had to battle some challenging conditions with extremely cold weather yesterday and very windy conditions today.
