DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's basketball program hosted its annual media day on Monday afternoon (10/24) in the Shivers Basketball Practice Facility.
The day began with a preview of the 2022-23 season by Suzie Glazer Burt Head Women's Basketball Coach . The Bulldogs return four starters including 2022-23 Preseason All-MVC forward and 2022-23 Preseason All-MVC guard and defending MVC Newcomer of the Year . Drake also brings back sophomores and , both members of the 2021-22 MVC All-Freshman Team.
The entire Drake women's basketball team was available to meet with members of local media to recap an eventful summer and a promising 2022-23 campaign.
