DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake women's soccer team fell to Missouri State, 1-0, Wednesday afternoon in blustery conditions at Drake Stadium.
Senior Hannah Bormann recorded two shots, both on goal, for Drake. She was the only Bulldog to record a shot on goal in the match as both teams battled gusting winds.
In the 52nd minute of play, Sierra Fury scored to put the Bears ahead, 1-0.
"We had such a focused and disciplined first half of defending into the wind, that it makes it even more disappointing to concede such a soft goal," said Drake head coach Lindsey Horner.
