DES MOINES, Iowa -- Drake Stadium welcomed just over 1,100 athletes onto the Blue Oval on Sunday, Oct. 16 as part of the IMT Des Moines Marathon. The Blue Oval will be host to the 55th Drake Road Races on Sunday, April 23, 2023, where an anticipated 3,000 athletes will finish their race.
Registration for the 55th edition of the Drake Road Races is now open. To celebrate the anniversary year, participants looking to complete the half marathon can register at a special price of only $55. The opening two-day sale extends to the 10k and 5k races as well with pricing for $35 in the 10k and $25 in the 5k.
