The Drake Relays presented by Xtream powered by Mediacom has partnered with OneIA Challenge to raise money for Iowa charities and members of the running community during the COVID-19 pandemic through a summer-long virtual running challenge.
Blake Boldon, the Franklin P. Johnson Director of the Drake Relays, announced the partnership to encourage Iowans to stay in shape while supporting local charities and running stores. Interested runners can register at iowa.oneus.run.
"As we evaluate options to reschedule our events in 2020, we continue to identify unique ways to provide meaningful experiences for our athletes, fans and all those looking to get active this summer," Boldon said.
