MADISON, Wis. – Drake men's soccer played to a 1-1 draw this evening in the 2022 non-conference finale. The Bulldogs netted a late goal to even the tally with the host Badgers of Wisconsin and move to 4-2-3 overall.
Both teams fought through a tightly contested first half. The halftime box score looked nearly identical as each team recorded seven shots and the Badgers made just one more save than Drake.
After the break, the Badgers finally put together some momentum. In the 68th minute, Jack Finnegan struck after an assist by Tim Bielic to take a 1-0 lead.
