KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Drake men's soccer wrapped up a pivotal non-conference road trip with a challenging match at Kansas City on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs dug deep and leaned on their defense down the stretch to earn a 0-0 draw against the talented Roos.
Despite the scoreless outcome, Drake did not lack opportunities on Tuesday. The Bulldogs outshot Kansas City, a team that received votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25, 6-2 in the first half but could not strike to score and went into the break in a 0-0 tie.
The Bulldogs also outshot Kansas City 7-5 in the second period for a total of 13-7 on the match.
