DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake University Athletic Department achieved the highest finish in the LEARFIELD Director's Cup of any Missouri Valley Conference school during the 2022-23 season.
The Bulldogs accumulated 167.50 points across 18 sports, capped this spring by the NCAA Championship appearances by Isaac Basten and Anthony Barmes of Drake track & field.
Men's basketball made the program's second NCAA Tournament appearance in the last three years after claiming the MVC Tournament Title at Arch Madness. Women's basketball also returned to the Big Dance with a championship-winning effort at Hoops in the Heartland.
