The Drake University men's basketball team dropped a tightly contested game, 77-68, to Iowa State Saturday afternoon in the final Hy-Vee Classic.
Drake (6-2) was led by Nick McGlynn with 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Nick Norton added 11 points as well as reaching 10 assists for the second time in the past three games.
Norton's double-double was his second in the last three games, and at six rebounds he was just short of another triple-double.
Anthony Murphy narrowly missed a double-double with 12 points and eight rebounds in 22 minutes.
