The Drake University women's basketball team climbed to No. 21 in Monday's The Associated Press' women's college basketball poll. Drake, which is 22-4 overall and 15-0 in Missouri Valley Conference play this season, last week joined the poll at No. 25 for the program's first ranking since Dec. 3, 2001. The Bulldogs rose in this week's rankings after their road wins over Indiana State and Loyola last weekend. It is the highest ranking in program history since the 1982-83 team was ranked No. 20 on Dec. 5, 1982.
