Drake athletics honored the majority of its student-athletes on Wednesday, Feb. 17, with the department's annual 3.0 Recognition Ceremony during halftime of the Drake men's basketball game.
In total, 256 student-athletes were recognizied for achieving a 3.0 or higher grade point average during the fall semester. That represents 69 percent of the student-athletes at Drake University. Additionally, all 18 of Drake's teams recorded a 3.0 or higher GPA with those teams recording a cumulative 3.23 GPA in the fall semester.
Sixty-one student-athletes were honored for having achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall semester.
With all 256 of those honored on the Knapp Center court, the Bulldogs were presented with two additional awards.
