DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University Athletic Department achieved an overall Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 93 percent to mark the eighth time in history that Drake has posted a score of at least 90 including each of the last six years, according to data released by the NCAA.
"I have witnessed Drake student-athletes strive for academic greatness since I arrived on campus six years ago," Drake director of athletics Brian Hardin said. "Graduating student-athletes is always a top priority of any athletics department. Much of the credit goes to our student-athletes for committing to their studies, but I commend our coaches for identifying and mentoring student-athletes that excel in Drake's academic environment.
