DES MOINES, Iowa -- Alex Jeske had two touchdowns while the Dayton defense hauled in four interceptions, forced a fumble and blocked a field goal to help the Flyers to a 20-10 win over Drake on Saturday.
Tied 3-3 at the half, Dayton (2-4, 1-2 Pioneer Football League) broke away with the opening drive of the third quarter when Jeske ran in the go-ahead touchdown from the 7, capping a 75-yard drive that included a 42-yard catch by Matt Tunnacliffe. Later, Nick Surges intercepted a pass by Drake's Grant Kraemer, setting up Jeske's 29-yard touchdown throw to Ryan Skibinski to make it 17-3 with 1:43 left in the third.
