Darnell Brodie, a 6-10, 265-pound forward has joined the Drake University men's basketball program, head coach Darian DeVries announced Monday, April 20.
Brodie recently completed his sophomore season at Seton Hall.
"We are excited to have Darnell Brodie joining our program," DeVries said. "Darnell will bring value to our team in rebounding, passing, toughness and ability to score in the paint. Most importantly, our fans will really enjoy watching him. His passion on the court is electric."
Brodie, a native of Newark, N.J., played in three games last season due to injury and illness and 10 games as a freshman for the Pirates.
