The Drake University cross country teams are gearing up for the MVC Championship in Valparaiso, Ind. on Saturday, Oct. 2. The races will take place at Sunset Hill County Park, hosted by Valparaiso.
The field will consist of all 10 MVC teams in the women's race, and nine teams in the men's race. The first race of the day will be the men's 8-kilometer race which begins at 10:35 a.m. on Saturday. The women's 5-kilometer race will begin at 11:35 a.m.
The Drake men's team has had a strong season, posting two of the top three fasted 8-kilometer times in the MVC in 2019.
