DES MOINES, Iowa – With a split squad this weekend, a small contingent of the Drake track and field team traveled across town to the Grand View Invitational to record wins in seven events on Friday, March 25.
Drake's middle distance crew was well represented as both the men's and women's 4x800-meter relay teams won their races with many of those same runners having great success individually in the 800 meters.
Freshman Josh Yeager won the men's 800 meters in 1:59.50 while Emma Huston (Des Moines, Iowa) claimed the women's race in 2:18.
