DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake football's Nathan Clayberg was named CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for his effort in the classroom and on the field on Wednesday.
Clayberg, a junior defensive lineman, earned first team honors and is eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
He owns a perfect 4.0 GPA as finance/accounting major. Clayberg has recorded 16 tackles (four solo), a blocked kick and one tackle for a loss. He registered a season-high four tackles (two solo) in the Bulldogs' win over Campbell on Oct. 29. Last year, he registered 28 tackles with 10 of them being for a loss in his rookie season.
